Don't look behind you...

Lately everyone on TV is being interviewed from the comfort of their own home. And aiming your camera at a bookcase is an easy way to ensure a classy background. There has been detailed analysis of several bookcases, and even a Twitter movement to rate bookcases, which I find very amusing.

I’ll jump in the game. Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has garnered much attention as a leading voice of science and reason of late, testified yesterday remotely. It brings me great comfort that even this man has odd stacks of books, maybe a poster tube (does he present at meetings like the rest of us pleebs? I really doubt it, I bet it’s a sick poster for his home office) and what looks like a black bag randomly strewn in the background. Nicely played!
